About balancing machine
Working principle of balancing machine for automobile maintenance equipment
The unbalance of the rotor is corrected according to the data measured by the balancing machine, which can improve the mass distribution of the rotor to the axis and reduce the vibration generated when the rotor rotates or the vibration force acting on the bearing to the allowable range. Therefore, the balancing machine is an indispensable equipment to reduce vibration, improve performance and improve quality.
Generally, the balancing of rotor includes two steps: measurement and correction of unbalance. The balancing machine is mainly used for the measurement of unbalance, while the correction of unbalance is often completed by means of drilling machine, electric welding machine and other auxiliary equipment, or by manual methods. Some balancing machines have made the correction device a part.
The balanced rotor is placed on the support of hydrostatic bearing, and a piece of reflector is embedded below the support. When there is no unbalance in the rotor, the light beam emitted by the light source is reflected by this reflector and projected on the polar coordinate origin of the unbalance indicator. If the rotor has unbalance, the rotor support will tilt under the weight torque of the unbalance, and the mirror under the support will tilt accordingly to reflect
The beam deflects so that the light spot on the polar indicator will leave the origin. According to the coordinate position of the deflection of the light spot, the size and position of the unbalance can be obtained.
The gravity balancing machine is only applicable to some disc parts with low balancing requirements. For rotors with high balancing requirements, centrifugal single-sided or double-sided balancing machines are generally required.
The centrifugal balancing machine measures the unbalance according to the support vibration caused by the rotor unbalance or the vibration force acting on the support when the rotor is rotating. It can be divided into single-sided balancing machine and double-sided balancing machine according to the number of correction planes. The single side balancing machine can only measure the imbalance on one plane (static imbalance). Although it is measured when the rotor rotates, it is still a static balancing machine. Double sided balancing machine can measure dynamic imbalance, and also can measure static imbalance and dynamic imbalance respectively. It is generally called dynamic balancing machine.
