Lifting machine use introduction
The lift is an essential equipment for car maintenance, but it may not be used for car maintenance novices. The lift can be divided into three types according to its function and shape: two post, four post, scissors lift type. According to the function can be divided into four wheel positioning type and plane type;
(1) The use of two post lift.Two post lift is electro-hydraulic or electric chain traction, the column is fixed, suitable for the professional maintenance of automobiles and light vehicles below 3t.
(2) Four post lift using hydraulic or electric chain traction, switch operation, easy lifting. The quality can be improved to 8t, and the stability is good, which can be used for the maintenance of larger vehicles such as trucks. The disadvantage is that it occupies a large space and is suitable for comprehensive auto repair shops.
(3) The main features of the shear lift are small footprint, good safety performance, unlocking and locking feedback signals when the lifting platform falls, reliable operation and simple operation. In particular, fully hydraulic working systems need to be equipped with additional compressed air sources, suitable for various occasions.
Scissor lifts: Some floors are not suitable for the installation of two post lifts and ordinary four post lifts, but this machine has a wide contact area with the floor, and can be installed on any floor that can be driven to solve the customer's site problems. Compared with two post lift, four post lift, the biggest advantage is that it does not occupy space, easy to use, the disadvantage is that the oil balance requirement is very strict, the need for a control box, the cost is more expensive. The lift is used to lift the car off the ground to a certain height. The hoist is often used in car maintenance, such as chassis maintenance, oil change, tire change, etc. Lifts are divided into two post, four post, scissors lift type according to their functions and shapes.
The following describes the use of the most common two post rocker arm lift. Turn on the power knob of the hoist (the power indicator on the control panel is light). Lower the lift to the lowest position and push the swing arm to extend to both sides in a straight line to provide convenience for vehicle parking. Drive the vehicle into the appropriate position and adjust the vehicle so that the center of gravity of the vehicle is as close to the center of the lift as possible. Then pull the parking brake and park the vehicle. Slowly rotate the swing arm and pallet into place on the vehicle, adjusting the length of the swing arm and extending it into place. Turn the pallet to adjust the pallet to the right height so that the vehicle remains level and the pallet slot is accurately aligned with the body support point. For the four support points (designated positions on the chassis of the car), this position is usually reinforced with steel plates and can withstand greater forces. Press the up button, lift the vehicle until the tires are off the ground, and rock the vehicle to ensure its stability.
Step 2: Start the lift. After the fulcrum makes contact with the vehicle, re-check the position of the fulcrum, confirm that the vehicle is correct, and lift the vehicle 12 feet off the ground. When lifting the vehicle, the staff should leave the vehicle and do not stand under the lift. When raised to the required height, the safety lock pin must be inserted to ensure safety and reliability before starting the underbody operation. Before lowering the vehicle, lift the vehicle, open the safety lock pin, then press the drop button and slowly lower the vehicle until the lifting arm is in the lowest position. Remove lift arm and exit vehicle. The total mass of the vehicle cannot be greater than the lifting capacity of the lift machine. According to the different model and parking position, try to make the center of gravity of the car close to the center of gravity of the lift to prevent deviation. Rotate, stretch and adjust the lift arm to the specified position of the vehicle chassis and make it firmly in contact. Before lifting the car, the operator should check the people around the car to prevent accidents. When lifting the car, the fulcrum needs to be rechecked when the car leaves a lower position on the ground. Only in the absence of abnormal phenomena, can be raised to the required height.
