Operation process of four-wheel positioning
I believe everyone has a clear understanding of theoretical knowledge. Next, I will explain practical knowledge to you. (Take the four-wheel alignment instrument as an example)
Special equipment for four-wheel alignment includes: four-wheel alignment instrument and four-pillar lift.
The basic sequence for adjusting the four wheel alignment data: first adjust the rear axle, then adjust the front axle; For a single axle, first adjust the caster angle of the kingpin, then adjust the camber angle, and finally adjust the toe in angle.
The use of the four-wheel alignment instrument is relatively simple, and it can be operated according to the procedures given by the computer. Here, we will not introduce too many usage instructions.
1. Symptom Inquiry and Test Run
2. Inspection before starting positioning
Inspection of steel ring (dynamic balancing)
Inspection of tires (air pressure, wear degree, specification, brand)
Inspection of steering gear (looseness, wear, and symmetry of steering assistance)
Check whether the connections between the hub and chassis are loose
E. Whether the left and right brakes are symmetrical
Whether the left and right heights of the vehicle body are symmetrical
Inspection of arm vibration damper (oil leakage, elasticity)
3. Precautions for driving the vehicle onto the lift
A. The vehicle body should be aligned
The center of gravity of the tire should coincide with the center point of the steering wheel as much as possible
Tighten the hand brake or fix the foot brake
Loosen the fixing locks of the front wheel steering wheel and the rear wheel side paddle
Shake the front and rear ends of the vehicle body downward for a few times
4. Precautions for installation of clamps and sensors
The clamp claw should be close to the steel ring
The clamp claw cannot be installed on the position with wear and lead blocks
Do not install the wrong wheel on the sensor
D. The central axis of the sensor should be close to each other when installed on the fixture
5. Start detection with a four wheel alignment machine
A. Don't choose the wrong model
Operate according to the procedures specified by the manufacturer
6. Adjust the vehicle
A. Find the simplest adjustment scheme through comprehensive analysis of data (green ones are normal, red ones need adjustment)
Precautions for locking the steering wheel
C. Review
7. Test run
8. Handover and explanation to the owner
